Anything Goes with a Twist: Black and Red with Ike's Art

Hi there everyone! I am thrilled to be hosting my first Challenge with Crafting by Designs this week. I've been on the team for a couple of months now and enjoying it immensely, loving the talent in this group of ladies, it is a joy to be here. And this week we have one of my favourite artist's sponsoring us, Ike of Ike's Art.

This week's challenge is a Colour Challenge and we are looking for you to create something primarily Red and Black in colour. You can, of course, use neutrals - white, kraft, skin tones. We would like if you limited your use of other colours but as long as your project is mainly red and black and you follow the other challenge rules,  you could win a $15 gift certificate
from our fabulous sponsor.  We'd also love you to check out their new challenge blog

Before I show you the inspiration from the team, can I invite you to join us on our Facebook page if you haven't already found us, come and hit 'Like' and we will keep you up to date with the Crafting by Designs team and hopefully have more inspiration there to help you get crafting!

Now without further ado here are the inspirational projects from the Crafting by Designs team using images from Ike's Art. You can visit the lovely ladies' blogs and leave them some love too and don't forget to link up your creations below.  Thanks! Mo xxx

New Design Team member for Crafting by Designs

Hi everyone, Doris here to introduce you to another new member of the
Crafting by Designs Team - say hello to Beverly Cole!

I am a paper crafter who has always had an interest in color and design, especially in nature. Painting with watercolor or oils, using color makes me happy. However, it's more fun when done with some company. That's the reason I teach paper crafting classes and help out at our local community card making club.
I make my home is central Florida, where I live with my husband George and out two cats, Tinker and Nick. I have three terrific daughters and five adorable grands. They live up north…I miss them!
Be sure to check out Bev's wonderful blog
and her brand new project in our next challenge!

Anything Goes Purple and Orange with Lacy Sunshine!

Hello Everyone, Rene here!

My chance to challenge you this week!
I've decided to throw in a little twist, a colour challenge.
The colours that I've chosen are my 2 of my favourites:  Purple and Orange.
Today, we are mixing the 2! And did we have fun!

Here are the colours you can use:
(created using colourcombos.com)

You can use any shade of orange and any shade of purple.
You can mix it with neutrals, like black, white, kraft & cream in any amount.
Silver & gold & copper can also be used.
Other colours? If you have to, but only one other colour in a very small amount.
Your image can be coloured as you like if it is a human or doll or similar.
Only creations following the challenge and rules will be eligible for the prize & spotlight.
And you can create anything, as long as there is purple and orange somewhere!
Most important, have fun!
Oh, do visit our Facebook Page where we'll add some more creations during the week.
