Thinking of You

Hi everyone, Doris here with a new challenge:
Thinking of You.
If you're like me, you like to keep a few cards like
this in your stash for those times you'd like to
give someone a little pick-me-up and let them
know that they're in your thoughts.
This week we wanted to think outside the box
and used a cute little Valentine image from our sponsor
Lia Stampz

Look thru your images and stamps and let's see
if you can use one that doesn't necessarily say
"thinking of you", but can work for that theme.

Here are a few samples from the Design Team and
our fabulous Guest Designers.

Julia using using Valentine Girl

Tammy used Little Ana

Guest Designer
Hello from Central Oregon! My name is Neva and I live in Bend with my husband and two active boys plus the assorted animals that share our home and property.  We recently added 8 German Shepherd puppies to the mix, and chicks will be coming soon. I’ve been stamping and making cards for about 20 years, and scrapbooking for 17 years. Recently crafting has been good therapy as a very dear friend lost her battle with cancer and this card is for her wonderful adult son. Please come check out my blog at snippetscrafter.blogspot.com.

Lyn from My Purple House
I am a Georgia girl. I’m not married and have no children except my 8 year old Black lab Cash (As in Johnny Cash– I am from the South after all.) Market Research – Focus Groups and such -  is my daytime job. But, as I am a night owl, at night I like to do something more creative. I am a person that loves to learn new crafts so I have done a lot of them from knitting , to jewelry making, to scrap booking/card making, etc… I am so excited to have been asked to once again Guest Design for Crafting by Designs! Have fun with the challenge!

Link your projects below and please remember to follow the rules:
you can link up three projects, they must be linked to your blog, and
they must be posted during the week this challenge is open.
Thanks for playing along with us!

(Pearls, Die Cut, Ribbon)

Hello, my name is Myrna Sweet. I live in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. I am retired, widowed, no kids, and have a funny little dog that is "creepy" smart. I love to travel, read, and photography. I started card making in 2011 when I bought a Cricut machine. Since then, I work with dies, stamps, watercolours, Copics and more. I love learning new techniques. While I can make multi-media/layered cards, I tend to stick with more CAS designs. For more information about my cards, my dog, and me - please check out my blog at  www.sweetartdesigns.ca

Nicky from Stiggys Crafts
(Ribbon, Die Cuts and Pearls)
(Brads, red, die cuts)
I am a retired teacher (in my early 60s), a mother of 4, grandmother of 3. My 3 sons and families live in Australia. My daughter lives in the UK. I have enjoyed crafting all my life, but have only fairly recently starting 'blogging' about it. My first DT was with Pretty Paper Studios in Dubai - My husband and I have been expats since '98 living in Australia, Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi and India. We have recently returned to the UK. I am now on various DTs ranging from fairly mainstream to left of centre. I work with lots of digis but also physical stamps and like to use many different techniques and folds.
Please visit the Design Team and leave some love
for this talented group of ladies.
Do not forget to upload your project using the Inlinkz tool below.
This challenge will be open until February 24, 2015.

I have been involved with crafts in some form or another for as long as I can remember. For the last 20 years I have run my craft business from home, with the help of my husband. working mainly with ceramics and candles. I only got into paper crafts and card making at the beginning of 2008 and have just loved this journey. I have been on a number of design teams, and enjoy taking part in challenges and keeping my blog up to date. This is where I showcase what I am doing. http://ursulauphof.blogspot.com/
