Thinking of You

Isobel here and welcome to our new challenge "Thinking of You" .
I chose this theme as my dad was in hospital at the time,
and I got to thinking about all other people facing
health battles in their every day life, and how nice it
was for me to receive thinking of you cards . It helped
me a lot at this hard time . Sadly my dad passed away
from his illness but the cards helped me a lot.

I do hope you will join in the challenge and maybe
even give your card to someone facing a hard time x

  Madja from majdinustvarjalninemir
Hi everyone! I’m Majda – a card maker, a wife, a mom, a teacher, a puppy lover and a friend. I live in a small yet so beautiful country called Slovenia. I have been passionate about arts and crafts my whole life. I only discovered card-making in late 2015, but I have been crafting every single day since and I'm loving every single moment of it. It has been an amazing journey and I’m happy to be sharing it with you. So here I am, addicted to making cards. I'm always up for experimenting with new techniques and styles and so curious about working with different materials. I love challenges and cute stamps! I have met so many lovely crafty friends along the way.
I am absolutely thrilled and excited to be a guest designer at  Crafting By Designes blog.
  Helen from Made by Helen
I work full time as an Activity Coordinator for a charity called Abbeyfield which provides care and support for older people. Once a month I teach workshops for a local stamping company and I'm also a card designer for them including providing samples and demos for their TV shows. I regularly write articles for for craft magazines and am lucky enough to design for several other digi companies.

you may enter up to 3 projects, they must be your own projects, they must be linked to this challenge, and no back linking to prior dates.

3 Patterned Papers

Well Hello! It's Sharon here and I am hosting this weeks challenge.
The theme for the challenge this week is:  Use 3 Patterned Papers
It is a perfect way to use up some of the paper
we accumulate in our scrap piles.

We have a very generous sponsor, who also happens to be one
of our favorites. Please visit Eureka Stamps and share a little
love with them. You will not be disappointed in their products.
Prize - choice of 3 images
Finally, The Stamps You've been Looking for! Eureka stamps offers a large variety of  images and sentiments in many different categories for all of your stamping needs.  Our Paper Sculpting stamps add an extra dimension to your creations. Or, Mix and match our Balloons and Balloon Holdersto celebrate every occasion. Our Stamps are available as unmounted, deep etched, natural red rubber stamps OR as digital stamps. If Eureka Stamps aren't exactly what you are looking for, Don't miss out on the sister companies: QKR Stampede,  Biblical Impressions Rubber Stamps, or the newest addition; Alluring Impressions.

We are also very happy to have 3 amazing Guest Designers
join us this week. Please stop by their blogs and give them a little love too.

And now onto our Design Team and Guest Designer Inspiration:

Carole- Sun Path Border

Rene - May God Give

  Guest Designer
Maxine from Kiwime's Kreations
I am a New Zealander, a mother and grandmother, who has been stamping for some 15 years, for a long time on my own, having been introduced to it by a local stamp company, whose owner was a friend of mine. She asked me to try some embossing at her place one evening - I went feeling quite skeptical, but the rest is now  history - I was hooked!!  It is only relatively recently that I have found friends to stamp with.... I think I may have introduced one or two of them to the craft.  I have no particular brand of stamp that I favour, or any one particular style.
I love trying 'new to me' techniques and getting messy, but my style tends leans toward being CAS, although I can, and sometimes do, 'gussy it up' with layers, paper and lace, but not a lot of three dimensional flowers and accents as postage gets too expensive, and the results can get crushed!
Thank you for giving me the honour of sharing my work here as a Guest Designer

  Marie from NJ Stamping Queen
I've been an avid papercrafter for about 25 years.  Retired from education,  I have more time to create, blog and participate on various challenge blog Design Teams. (currently:  Color My Heart Color Dare, Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog and Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog)

Now I'm going to turn it over to you, use up those scraps of paper. Remember you must use 3 different kinds of patterned paper. The challenge is open until March 14th and please remember to follow our simple rules:  you can enter up to 3 projects, your project must be made for this challenge (and fit the theme), and please no backdating, and link your blog post to your project.

Thank you for playing along with us!
We can't wait to see what you create!

We also have some amazing Guest Designers
Andrea from SheepSki Designs
Elaine from elainelaine
Hello! I'm Elaine! A mother, bookkeeper, personal shopper and animal lover, paper crafting is my outlet to let my creative side out to play! I used to make jewelry but now I'm a card maker. Paper crafting has taken over and allowed me to express myself freely. I love combining designs in fun ways, as well as mixing traditional layout with modern style. When an image or idea is spinning in my head, I get very excited and want to lay it out on the paper as soon as I can. Every time a beautiful card is created and the card is exactly how it was pictured in my head, the satisfaction of seeing the idea comes to live is priceless. And I am sure all the crafter out there will agree with me. :) Wishing you happy crafting~

Kalina from KalySto
My name is Kalina Pavlova but you will find my things signed as KalySto. I live in a beautiful city of Varna, Bulgaria on the Black Sea coast. I’ve been sewing, embroidering, knitting and making jewelry as long as I can remember but it was 6 years ago, when paper-crafts  became my true passion.I love coloring with markers, patterned papers and my projects usually tell their unique stories with a lot of flowers, lace, ribbons and sparkle.

Leeann from Paper Doll's Creations
My name is Leeann and I’m from Birdsboro, PA, a little town about 60 miles west of Philadelphia. I have 2 adult daughters, a teen son, and a 5-year-old grandson, and I work as a Systems Administrator for a global home furnishing chain.
I started card making about 4 years ago and have been addicted ever since. Although I’ve dabbled in some other crafts, my heart is definitely with working with digital papers and coloring digital stamps and designing cards using Silhouette Software and Cameo.  Please visit my blog at http://paperdollscreations.blogspot.com/

Awesome inspiration for this challenge! Well it's over to you now to get crafty and share your amazing projects with us. Don't forget to check out the Designers and Guest designers and leave some love.
